Myths about women
Margarita SlobodianSocial media, strategic planning, research market
Every day we encounter different stereotypes that accompany our lives. Women's leadership is no exception. There are many contradictory statements around it, we offer to discuss and refute some of them. Stereotype # 1 Apparently, each of us has heard the idea that women are too emotional, their mood is subject to physiological processes, and they cannot control themselves, not that other people, projects, companies. Allegedly, this is what nature intended, and as a result, women cannot be good leaders. Women's leadership style is indeed different from men's one, but it is by no means less successful or less effective: women are more likely to demonstrate employee development behaviors, are more likely to inspire, resolve conflicts peacefully, and are more responsible. Experts believe that this type of leadership behavior is most effective in solving the problems and challenges of the future. Thus, a survey of managers of large corporations identified four patterns of behavior that will be most effective for the work of corporations over the next 5 years: stimulating intellectual processes, inspiration, employee involvement in decision-making, and matching expectations and rewards. Three of these patterns of behavior are most characteristic of women leaders, and the fourth is used equally by men and women. Well, we completely destroy this stereotype
