About

Ivan Nagornyak is a member of the Security Expert Centre board and Head of the Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs Program. He is a PhD student at the Institute of International Relations at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Mr Nagornyak obtained his Master's degree in international relations at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in Ukraine. He received a scholarship for young researchers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland in 2015 and studied at the University of Warsaw. In 2016 Mr Nagornyak studied at the Erasmus+ exchange program at the University of Wroclaw.

 

He is interested in EU neighbourhood policy, the Eastern Partnership (EaP) initiative, and European energy security.
